Small and mini-hydropower is defined as the production of electricity by harnessing the power of flowing water from lakes, rivers, and streams. Small hydro is based on the simple concepts of moving water to turn a turbine that will spin a generator which in turn will produce electricity. Green Circle Energy (Nig.) Ltd with its Technical partners develop Mini hydroelectric projects that support in providing an economically viable platform for reducing the carbon footprint and supporting the Nation's power generating objectives.
